NADIA WHITTLEY
Chief Executive Officer
Nadia brings a wealth of experience gained from her previous positions within the Life Sciences industry. In addition to her role as a board member in several companies, she has held senior positions across many different geographies, most recently at Arquer Diagnostics, Allergan Aesthetics, Boston Scientific, and Medtronic. Nadia’s entrepreneurial attitude, extensive background in business management and fund-raising experience will fortify and advance the continuous growth of Verso
JOSEPH CEFAI
Head of Product Development
Joseph has led product development at Verso Biosense since 2018 including the development of IRIS. A passionate leader with a long track record of successful management in start up environments, Joseph has a history of recognising opportunities, raising funding and building companies, across different facets of the medical device market.
KATE DAVIES
Fertility Nurse Consultant & Coach
Kate began her journey into the world of female health and fertility whilst training as a nurse at St Thomas’ Hospital, London. Working in the NHS as a specialist nurse in Gynaecology, Sexual and contraceptive health and fertility for over 20 years, Kate’s expertise and dedication to female health has led her to her role as Fertility Nurse Consultant & Coach at Verso Biosense.

PROFESSOR NICHOLAS MACKLON
Professor Macklon is Medical Director of the London Women’s Clinic, and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Copenhagen.
PROFESSOR ROY HOMBURG
Professor Homburg is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who specialises in the treatment of infertility in general, polycystic ovary syndrome, ovulation induction, ovarian stimulation and IVF.
PROFESSOR DAVID GARDNER
Professor Gardner is an expert in embryo culture systems and blastocyst uterine interactions.
DR. MITCHELL P. ROSEN
Dr Rosen is an Associate Professor and the Director of the University of California San Francisco fertility preservation programme and reproductive laboratories.

TERRI COOPER
Chair
Terri Cooper is a 35-year life sciences-healthcare industry veteran with a special passion for women’s health. As a recognized life sciences-healthcare expert, Terri has worked across sectors globally in both public and private domains. Terri is a former Principal of Deloitte’s US consulting practice. Her experience spans complex industry, business, technology, DEI, brand-building, and regulatory imperatives. She has successfully built business units from scratch, has led global organisational and financial restructures driving significant performance improvement, and has piloted innovation and M&A initiatives that have resulted in growth opportunities and competitive differentiation.
CHARLES DICKSON
Executive Director
Responsible for the original creation of VERSO in 2011, Charles has overseen the growth and development of the business from inception to commercial launch. This is alongside his role as executive chairman of Barkby Group Plc, and leading family office Tarncourt Group.
STEPHEN WITHNELL
Non Executive Director
A former Managing Director of Goldman Sachs, Stephen is an experienced executive and non-executive director with a background in M&A, corporate finance and corporate governance. Stephen is an Honorary Professor in Economics & Finance at Durham University and a NED of European Metal Recycling, a global leader in sustainable materials. He is an alumnus of the INSEAD International Directors Programme.
ALEX SNOW
Non Executive Director
Former executive chairman of Investment Banking Investec, CEO of Lansdown Partners, co-founder of Oxford Sciences Innovation Plc and executive chairman of Exscientia, Alex has a wealth of experience in both capital markets and leading innovative investors and entrepreneurs. He joined VERSO in 2021 to provide support on its journey.
DAVID WILKINSON
Non Executive Director
David is a non-executive Chairman and NED at a range of public and private businesses. He was previously a senior partner at Ernst & Young (EY), working for over 30 years with growth and entrepreneurial companies on corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, financing, IPOs and other exits.
PROF. YING CHEONG
Non Executive Director
Professor Ying Cheong is a Consultant Gynaecologist, has worked in many of the UK’s leading IVF clinics and is an expert in fertility surgery and miscarriage. She has led ground breaking fertility research projects to increase understanding of the beginnings of pregnancy. Ying is a Professor of Reproductive Medicine at the University of Southampton, an expert in Fertility Medicine and Surgery, and the Medical Director of Complete Fertility.
